First comes preparing stacks of fine fabrics and papers for collage, with patterns, prints and textures. Then I start “painting” with those papers and fabrics.
Layers, cutouts and transparencies create stories that are complemented by acrylic strokes, dry or oil pastels and with each viewer’s gaze.
In my process, music functions as an invisible structure.
Rhythms, silences, and resonances coexist with organic and geometric shapes, giving rise to compositions that do not seek to be explained.
I construct images from the superposition of papers, fabrics, paint, transparencies, and textures that are covered and reappear.
